Bra Size Information-A Note on Bra Cup Sizes

There are difference between the cup size notation between manufacturers and mostly seen in the  in sizes above D in the US, UK, AUS and NZ.

In General, the Bra sizes varies between the AA and DD are fairly standard but once you get above this there are a chances of little or no coherence.

We have seen that Some manufacturers of this countries are using size DD but then continue with the further alphabets like E, F, G, H, I, J, etc. on the Others hand some are using DDD to represent an E and some go on to use E, EE, F, FF, G, GG, H, HH, to show the Bra Size. This leads to difficulty when you are purchasing a large-cup bra difficult.

In Order to Remove this Confusion European manufacturers tend to use a standard AA, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, scale to measure Bra size.

For the Imperial measurements (inches) cup sizes are expressed as alphabetically like AA, A, B, C, D, DD, E, F, G, H, I, J and K. As the alphabet varies according to it the Bra Size also varies. You may need to check the corresponding Bra size with the particular makers standards.

You are suggested to check out the International Bra Size Conversion Table to  convert the bra size according to the different countries because  US standard cup sizes tend to be calculated on half-inch boundaries whereas the manufacturers from UK tend to use one inch boundaries. For more clear cut idea on this topic,We are recommending you to please refer to the following table. In which we have tried to shows the different Bra cup sizes  (A cup, B cup and C cup) of  UK and US bra cup sizes.

Cup SizeUSUK
A0.6" - 1.5"0.1" - 1.0"
B1.6" - 2.5"1.1" - 2.0"
C2.6" - 3.5"2.1" - 3.0"
nb: measurements are expressed (in inches) as bust size minus adjusted band size
(see Bra Size Measurement)

you can see clearly that if your measurements show a band / bust size difference of 1.5" then your US cup size is A and If you are belongs to Uk then your cup size is B. One more example like,If your band / bust size difference is 2" then there is a no change for the US and UK because both the US and UK cup sizes will be B.

This is not a Fixed This may happen that some of the manufacturers from USA may determine their cup sizes on the inch boundaries.
